The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, now in its fifth year, helps keep beaches, rivers and lakes across America “barefoot friendly.” In 2011, Barefoot Wine and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches, along with community volunteers, are embarking on a tour of 20 cleanups nationwide, stopping in Chicago.

Volunteers are also invited to attend a celebration, organized by Surfrider Foundation, featuring surf-inspired fare and a live music performance by singer/songwriter Brett Dennen, who will play a mix of fan favorites from his previous albums and debut songs from his new album, Loverboy.
Tickets for the celebration will be distributed at the cleanup.
