111 West Kinzie Street
Chicago, IL 60654
When: Thursday-April 24, 2014
On Thursday, April 24, Untitled Supper Club will open their unmarked doors to pay homage to the “e” in whiskey with its Second Annual American Whiskey Affair.
In the sumptuous Whiskey Library room, Untitled proudly serves the largest selection of American whiskeys anywhere in the world (currently featuring more than 420). One year ago, Untitled hosted the inaugural American Whiskey Affair, and it was an instant hit, with more than 500 guests in attendance, sampling some of the best whiskeys from across the country. It was clear that the event was destined to become an annual affair.
This year, more than 70 American whiskeys will be available to sample and purchase, including Angel’s Envy, Wild Turkey, Templeton Rye, Woodford Reserve, Old Forrester, Jeffersons, and Great Lakes Distillery, just to name a few. On the eve of Chicago’s Whiskey Fest, guests are invited to rendezvous with representatives from top US distilleries as they discuss history, production, flavor profiles, and ask any and every burning whiskey-related question.
Well known distillers will be present at the event to autograph purchased bottles including Templeton Rye Founder Scott Bush, Jack Daniel Assistant Master Distiller Chris Fletcher, Angel’s Envy Distillery Manager Kyle Henderson, Wild Turkey Master Distillers, Jimmy and Eddie Russell, Jim Beam North American Whiskey Ambassador Adam Harris and Jim Beam’s grandson, Freddie Noe IV.
After the event, guests are welcome to stay for Unbridled, Untitled’s weekly live show of fun, freaky, and titillating variété that blurs the lines between absurd and artistic, raw and refined, which begins promptly at 10 p.m.
The Untitled American Whiskey Affair is on Thursday, April 24 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (The “meet the distillers” portion of the evening will begin at 9p.m.) Unbridled will begin at 11 p.m. Tickets are $100 (50% discount with the promo code: whiskeylove): http://americanwhiskeyaffair.eventbrite.com.
