Eat, Drink, Dance and Feel the Romance

Nacional 27 is the perfect place to dine, drink and dance with your Valentine. Chef Chico Vilchez has created a “Feliz dia de San Valentin” prix fixe menu, available on Friday, February 14 from 5-6:30 p.m. ($40 per guest) and from 7-10 p.m. ($75 per guest). The menu, outlined below, includes shared starting courses and tapas, choice of entree and dessert duo. The later seating includes a champagne toast. Following dinner service, DJ Konsept will spin lusty Latin beats ’til 2 a.m.

Valentine’s Day celebrants may also choose to enjoy the special prix fixe menu on Thursday, February 13 from 5:30-9:30 p.m ($75 per guest). Pre- or post-meal, partake in complimentary salsa dance lessons at 7:30 p.m.

Quince will offer a four course, Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner menu on February 14 from 5-10:30 p.m. Executive Chef Andy Motto’s menu ($85) includes scallop, lamb, quail and chocolate dessert, while his vegetarian option ($75) includes a roasted carrot dish, tortellini, wild mushroom tart and chocolate dessert. The menu is outlined below.

Atwood’s Beats of the Heart- Four Course Tasting Menu 2.14

This Valentine’s Day, Executive Chef Derek Simcik of Atwood will be preparing a special “Beats of the Heart” Four-Course Tasting Menu. Each of the courses is “heart themed” and actually includes one carnivorous heart.

×          1st Course: Hearts of Palm butter-popcorn, crab

×          2nd Course: Artichoke Hearts scallops, cauliflower, mushroom and artichoke oil

×          3rd Course: Pig Heart pork tenderloin, sausage, caraway spatzle, endive marmalade

×          4th Course: KOVAL Bourbon smoked loganberry cake, malted brown-butter ‘dirt’, loganberry glass (KOVAL only uses the “heart cut” of the distillate)

The cost is $55/person and $20/person additional with pairing.

Since VDay falls on a Friday this year, couples can really keep their romance alive by staying overnight at Atwood’s adjacent hotel, Kimpton’s Hotel Burnham, following dinner. Burnham has a special “My Heart Skipped a Beat” package that includes:
